Juno Isles, Juno Beach

An ungated 1960s and 1970s neighborhood of 341 single-family homes between US Highway 1 and the Intracoastal Waterway on the Juno Beach and North Palm Beach line, 33408, where the waterfront streets back onto deep canals and the Intracoastal, the association fee runs about $13 a month at the median of current listings, and the boat run goes north to Jupiter Inlet or south to Lake Worth Inlet.

I check the dock permit, the depth at the slip at low water and the bridges in both directions before you fall for the canal.

What it is

What Juno Isles is

Juno Isles sits east of US Highway 1 along Ellison Wilson Road, with Juno Isles Boulevard, Packwood, Ascott, Ardley, Radnor, Crafton and Longford running toward the water. Listings carry North Palm Beach and Juno Beach addresses in the 33408 zip code, and county boundary maps place almost every Juno Isles lot in unincorporated Palm Beach County, outside both towns, so the mailing address and the municipality are two different questions. The neighborhood is not gated.

A brokerage page counts 341 single-family homes built in the 1960s and 1970s, mostly one-story ranch houses with pools; sales in 2026 show 1971 and 1972 build years alongside new construction on the waterfront lots. Interior houses run 1,500 to 2,500 square feet. Waterfront lots are a different market: canal lots carry about 90 feet of frontage, and I pull recent closings for the canals, the Intracoastal and the interior separately.

The association is the smallest line on the page. Association fees run about $13 a month at the median of current listings, and most fall in the range of $13 to $23. Whatever the current figure, it does not buy a gate, a club or a marina. It is a neighborhood where you pay for your own seawall and your own dock, and the water is the whole reason to be here.

Docks and water

Docks, depth and the bridges in both directions

Start with the lot. Roughly a third of the streets end at water, either the deep canals that were cut when the neighborhood was built or the Intracoastal itself along the eastern edge. Listings describe docks and boat lifts behind most waterfront houses, and one North Palm Beach listing describes this stretch of the Intracoastal as a no-wake zone between Donald Ross Road and PGA Boulevard. The depth at your slip, the age of your seawall and the permit history of your dock are lot-by-lot facts, and none of them appears in a photograph. I get a sounding at low water and pull the permits.

Then the route, which from here is a choice. Juno Isles opens onto the Intracoastal south of Donald Ross Road. Going north to the Jupiter Inlet, you pass the Donald Ross Road bridge, a bascule listed at 35 feet closed that opens on the hour and half hour, and then the Indiantown Road bridge, also 35 feet closed, also opening on the hour and half hour. Both have had mechanical outages that kept them down for days at a time, which matters if your boat needs an opening. Going south to the Lake Worth Inlet, you pass the PGA Boulevard bridge, 24 feet closed by the chart, opening on the hour and half hour, the Parker bridge at US 1, 25 feet closed, opening at the quarter hours, and then the Blue Heron Boulevard bridge, which is fixed and charted at 65 feet.

What that means in practice: a center console clears everything in either direction without waiting. A sportfish with a tower or a sailboat is governed by openings, and the schedule and the outage history decide which inlet you use and how long the run takes. No fixed bridge below 65 feet stands between Juno Isles and either inlet, which is why the listings say ocean access. I still confirm the route against your boat’s air draft before you count on it.

The association, briefly. Current listings put the fee at about $13 a month at the median, and several agents describe the neighborhood as free of restrictive rules. I have not found the recorded declaration that says whether dues are voluntary or mandatory, so I request it, and I ask what, if anything, the association maintains. With no gate and no club, the real carrying costs are the seawall, the dock, flood insurance and the tax bill on a lot in unincorporated Palm Beach County.

For the specific home

What I check before you buy in Juno Isles

The canal sells itself. These are the things that do not show in the photographs.

  • Depth at the slip at mean low water, by sounding, and the depth of the canal to the Intracoastal.
  • Dock and seawall permits, lift rating against the boat you own, and the seawall’s age and condition.
  • Bridge openings and clearances on the route to whichever inlet you will use, against your boat’s air draft, and the outage history of the bascules.
  • Whether the parcel is Juno Beach, North Palm Beach or unincorporated Palm Beach County, and what that means for taxes, permits and rules.
  • The association’s recorded documents, whether dues are mandatory and what they fund, and any deed restrictions on the lot.
  • Flood zone, elevation certificate and insurance quotes, and the estoppel where an association issues one.

Questions

Questions Buyers Ask About Juno Isles

Does Juno Isles have ocean access without fixed bridges?

To the Jupiter Inlet, two bascules open on the hour and half hour, Donald Ross Road and Indiantown Road, both about 35 feet closed. To the Lake Worth Inlet, PGA Boulevard and the Parker bridge open and Blue Heron is fixed at 65 feet. Nothing fixed below 65 feet either way; I confirm the route against your boat.

What is the HOA fee in Juno Isles?

$13 a month is the median of current listings, and most fall in the range of $13 to $23. Whether the dues are voluntary is not something I have found in writing, so I request the recorded documents and ask what the association maintains.

Are the homes in Juno Beach or North Palm Beach?

Both mailing addresses appear, but county boundary maps place almost every lot in unincorporated Palm Beach County, outside both towns. I pull the property appraiser record for the exact lot so you know who taxes it and who issues the permits.

How old are the homes?

The neighborhood dates to the 1960s and 1970s; 2026 sales show 1971 and 1972 houses, and waterfront lots are being rebuilt with new construction. A brokerage page counts 341 single-family homes.

What do waterfront lots sell for?

The live market table above shows the last twelve months of sales. Interior houses and waterfront lots are different markets, so I pull recent closings for canal lots with about 90 feet of frontage, Intracoastal houses and interior houses separately. Current asking prices are in the listings on this page.

How deep are the canals?

Listings say deep water without a number. Depth varies by canal and by slip, so I get a sounding at low water at the dock you are buying and check the canal mouth to the Intracoastal.
