Overview
A Village Built Around the Water
North Palm Beach sits at the north end of the Lake Worth Lagoon, where the Intracoastal widens between Palm Beach Gardens and the barrier island.
Most of the village lies between US 1 and Prosperity Farms Road, on streets the original builders dredged into canals so more lots would reach the water. Along the Intracoastal are Old Port Cove, a gated marina village of condominium associations around the Safe Harbor marina, and the three Water Club towers. Across the lagoon on the barrier island, Lost Tree Village and Seminole Landing run between the ocean and the water, next to John D. MacArthur Beach State Park.
That mix sets the market. Condominiums from the 1970s and 1980s are the entry point, canal and village houses sit in the middle, and the newer towers and the gated enclaves by the ocean are at the top.
What we watch for buyers here: inspection and reserve files for the older buildings, slip terms at the marina, dock rights and water depth street by street, the flood zone and elevation, and club eligibility where it applies. The community guides cover those one community at a time.

History
A Short History of North Palm Beach
North Palm Beach is a planned village of the 1950s, laid out on land that changed hands several times before it was dredged into canals. The golf course, the waterfront and the postwar plan still shape its neighborhoods today.
- 1926
Seth Raynor designed the golf course for the Palm Beach Winter Club, on the land that would become the village.
- 1954
John D. MacArthur bought about 2,600 acres here for $5.5 million from the estate of Sir Harry Oakes; Harry Seymour Kelsey had partly developed the land before.
- 1950s
Contractors Bob and Dick Ross developed the village between US 1 and Prosperity Farms Road, dredging canals to bring more lots to the water.
- 1956
North Palm Beach was incorporated, and the National Association of Home Builders gave it its planned-community award for the year.
- 1958
Pratt & Whitney opened west of town, and the village grew as home to many of the people who worked there.
- 1962
The village bought the Winter Club course, which became the North Palm Beach Country Club.
- 2006
Jack Nicklaus redesigned the village course late in 2006, and upgraded it again in 2019.
- 2016
Water Club’s first two towers were completed on the Intracoastal; the third followed in 2021.

Your Next Chapter Starts With a Conversation
Every move starts a new chapter: a first home, more room, a place on the water, a winter home that becomes year-round. That deserves more than a search bar.
So we start with a conversation. What should the next few years look like? What can you not give up? I listen, then shape the search around your answers, so you only see places that fit and know what each one costs to own.
From there, my team and I handle the details: visits around your schedule, documents read before you ask, questions answered the same day.
“From start to finish, Monika was on top of every detail… I would use Monika again in a heartbeat!”
“Monika made the process not only easy for us, but enjoyable and stress free.”
“Monika sold the house in 1 day! What else can you ask for! Premium service in every way.”
“We were from out of state and only had 2 days to look at homes. Monika was able to orient us to the area very quickly.”
“She was excellent with follow through and proved to be absolutely knowledgeable and efficient.”
“It’s a pleasure to work with her and I know I can count on her to answer all my questions and concerns.”
Questions
Questions Buyers Ask About North Palm Beach
Which North Palm Beach neighborhoods are not gated?
Most of the village is ungated, including the original village plats, the canal streets east of US 1 and Juno Isles. Gated communities include Old Port Cove, Lost Tree Village and Seminole Landing. Tell us which you prefer and we will narrow the list.
What does a home in North Palm Beach cost?
In the 12 months through October 2026, the median North Palm Beach home sold for $633,000, about $395 per square foot, across 344 sales. The middle 80% sold between $215,000 and $4,100,000: older condominiums at the entry point, canal and village houses in the middle, and the newer towers and the oceanfront enclaves at the top. The live listings on this page show current asking prices.
Do I have to join a club to live on a golf course here?
No. North Palm Beach Country Club belongs to the village and is open to the public for tee times. Lost Tree Club is different: membership is by invitation and limited to residents of Lost Tree Village. At Seminole Landing, Seminole Golf Club membership is separate from owning the house. Terms change, so we confirm them in writing.
Can I keep a boat in North Palm Beach?
Yes. Safe Harbor Old Port Cove takes boats from 30 to 200 feet, canal homes across the village have private docks, and the village runs a boat ramp at Anchorage Park on an annual decal. The way to the ocean is south through Lake Worth to the Lake Worth Inlet, under the Parker Bridge on US 1, a drawbridge at about 25 feet closed; we check clearance and the opening schedule against your boat.
What are the 33408, 33403 and 33410 zip codes?
Most North Palm Beach addresses are 33408. The edges of the village share 33403 with Lake Park and 33410 with Palm Beach Gardens. A North Palm Beach mailing address can also sit in unincorporated Palm Beach County, as at Juno Isles and Seminole Landing, which changes the taxes, the permits and who answers for the roads.
How far is North Palm Beach from the airport?
President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT), formerly Palm Beach International, is about 21 minutes south on I-95. Fort Lauderdale is about 70 minutes, and Miami 90 minutes or more depending on traffic.
Can I rent out a home or condo in North Palm Beach?
Rental rules are set by each community’s documents: the minimum lease, how many leases a year and whether the association approves tenants. At Old Port Cove each association writes its own rules, so the answer starts with the building. A boat slip is usually a separate lease with the marina. We read the declaration before you count on rental income.
What should I know about flood insurance in North Palm Beach?
Flood zones change from street to street, especially on the canals and along the Intracoastal. We get the flood zone and an elevation certificate for the address and request wind and flood quotes during the inspection period, so the carrying cost is known before you close.
