About the development
Life at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, PBG
The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Palm Beach Gardens is 106 estate residences in three seven-story buildings on about 14 acres of Intracoastal waterfront at PGA Boulevard, with 1,040 feet of water frontage and a private 29-slip marina. Catalfumo Companies is the developer and Spina O’Rourke + Partners the architect.
Homes have three to five bedrooms plus a den, 2,875 to 5,120 sq ft inside and up to 6,614 sq ft with terraces, and every home has a private controlled-access elevator. I send the current price list and availability on request. North and East building residences are complete and the South building is finishing.
The story
Panama Hattie’s, Reimagined
For years this was Panama Hattie’s, the waterfront seafood spot and rum bar at the PGA Boulevard bridge. It closed in 2014, came down in 2015, and the land sat fenced while an earlier condo plan stalled. In October 2021 Dan Catalfumo bought it for $33 million and assembled about 14 acres, which the developer describes as the last 14 contiguous acres of Intracoastal waterfront in the Palm Beaches.
Catalfumo has deep roots on this road. His company dates to 1978, and in the 1999 MacArthur Foundation land sale he bought all four corners of PGA Boulevard and Alternate A1A, land that became Downtown at the Gardens, Legacy Place and the PGA Design Center.
The plan was built around boats. The developer moved the seawall 45 feet inland, giving up land to enlarge the marina to 29 slips for yachts up to 75 feet, with wet and dry docking, a day dock and direct access to both the Jupiter and Palm Beach inlets. The homes sit low, seven stories, so every residence lives like an estate rather than a tower unit.
It is the first Ritz-Carlton property designated part of the brand’s Estate Collection. A $340 million construction loan in 2023 was called the largest in South Florida since rates began rising, and a $401 million completion loan from Northwind Group followed in May 2026. The pool was filled in September 2026 and the developer’s latest estimate points to completion in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Questions
Frequently Asked
When can owners move in?
North and East building residences are complete and the South building is finishing as of September 2026. The latest estimate points to the fourth quarter of 2026. Ask me for the current closing schedule.
Can I get a boat slip?
The marina has 29 slips for vessels up to 75 feet, offered for lease, with direct access to the Jupiter and Palm Beach inlets. Select slips have lifts. Ask me for slip availability and lease terms.
How big are the homes?
Three to five bedrooms plus a den, 2,875 to 5,120 sq ft inside and 3,399 to 6,614 sq ft with terraces. Thirteen Grand Terrace residences have up to 1,834 sq ft outdoors.
How is this different from the Ritz-Carlton in West Palm Beach?
Different developer and setting. Palm Beach Gardens is seven stories on about 14 waterfront acres with a marina and is finishing now. West Palm Beach is a 27-story tower on North Flagler delivering in 2028.
Is it a hotel?
No. It is a residential condominium. The developer licenses the Ritz-Carlton marks from Marriott, which does not own, develop or sell the project.
What was on the site before?
Panama Hattie’s, a waterfront restaurant that closed in 2014. The land sat vacant until Catalfumo bought it in 2021.
Is the price different if I go through you?
No. Pricing comes from the developer’s current price list, which is the same whichever way you come in. What I add is the comparison, the scheduling and the follow-through.
Should I contact the sales gallery first, or you?
Either is fine. If you would like me involved, let me know before your first visit so I can coordinate with the on-site team and be there with you.
How do we work together?
Before we tour, I will explain in writing how our working relationship is set up under Florida law and go over any terms with you, so nothing is a surprise. I always recommend a Florida real estate attorney review the developer’s purchase agreement.
How do deposits and contracts work on new construction?
Deposit schedules, delivery dates and contract terms vary by project and are set out in the developer’s offering documents. Florida law gives condominium buyers a review period after signing, and I help you keep track of every date.
