About Maplewood
Maplewood is an umbrella, not one neighborhood. Its property owners’ association was filed with the state in 1980, and under it sit The Hamptons, Stonebriar, Colony, Egret Cove and Maple Isle, each on its own plat, with most homes finished between 1986 and 2000.
The county roll groups 1,083 single-family homes under the Maplewood names, including the plats of The Loxahatchee Club at Maplewood, the private Jack Nicklaus golf club whose homes are recorded inside the community. Living space runs from about 1,700 square feet in the older neighborhoods to more than 4,000 at the upper end.
Several neighborhoods have their own association as well as the master. The Maplewood Property Owners Association is managed by Realtime Property Management of South Florida; Maple Isle’s association, filed in 1995, is managed by Coastal Property Management. Some streets back onto Jones Creek, and dock rights and gate access differ by neighborhood, so we confirm both for a specific home.
Maplewood Drive also carries the Maplewood Center shops and offices. Harbourside Place, Downtown Abacoa and I-95 at Indiantown Road are each a short drive away.
