Private club · West Palm Beach address, sold with the Palm Beach Gardens clubs · membership required

Ibis Golf & Country Club, West Palm Beach

Thirty-three neighborhoods and about 1,850 homes behind a staffed gate on Northlake Boulevard, 54 holes of Nicklaus-family golf, a club that publishes its schedule of charges, and a mandatory membership that is non-refundable.

What it is

A West Palm Beach address in the Palm Beach Gardens club market

Ibis is at 8225 Ibis Boulevard, West Palm Beach 33412, seven miles west of I-95 on Northlake Boulevard. The address, the MLS city and the club’s own letterhead all say West Palm Beach, so this page sits under that town, but the buyers I meet shop it against Mirasol, BallenIsles and PGA National, and the fee sheet belongs in that comparison. The community is 33 neighborhoods and about 1,850 to 1,864 homes, from 1991 vintage to new construction, each neighborhood with its own association on top of the master property owners association.

The club is The Club at Ibis, and it is one of the few in the county that publishes its full Schedule of Club Charges. The sheet effective April 1, 2026 lists three categories, Premier Golf, Signature Golf and Tennis, and the contribution on each is marked non-refundable. That is the single fact to carry away from this page: at Ibis nothing comes back when you sell, which changes how I compare its Premier Golf contribution with the equity clubs to the east.

Membership is mandatory. Brokerage pages for the individual neighborhoods say buyers are required to join at one level, and the sheet itself notes that golf memberships depend on availability, so Tennis is the floor and the golf tiers may carry a wait.

Membership and what it costs

The structure below is from The Club at Ibis Schedule of Club Charges effective April 1, 2026, dated February 3, 2026, which states that dues and charges are subject to Florida sales tax and can change without notice, that contributions, capital dues and lessee fees are not taxed, and that availability of memberships may change. I get the current schedule in writing.

The POA figure is the master association. Each of the 33 neighborhoods bills its own dues, and those differ by product, so I pull the estoppel for the exact address. Figures as published by the club for the season from April 1, 2026, subject to change; the club’s current sheet governs.

On the ground

Three Nicklaus courses and a 100,000-square-foot clubhouse

Fifty-four holes. The Legend by Jack Nicklaus opened in 1991, was rebuilt in 2017 and sits 62nd on Golf Digest’s Florida list for 2025 to 2026. The Heritage by Jack Nicklaus II opened the same year, and the Tradition by Steve Nicklaus was finished in 2001. A 20-acre practice facility and range is open to both golf tiers. Premier Golf members have five-day tee times with green fees included; Signature members book four days out and pay the green fee on the sheet.

The clubhouse is about 100,000 square feet with four dining venues, Amici, The Atrium, The Pub and Panache, and the Sports Village is a separate 24,000-square-foot building with the fitness center and spa. Racquets are 15 Har-Tru courts, one cushioned hard court and seven pickleball courts, all included in every category. The club lists more than 30 member clubs and activity groups under its Ibis Clubs and Activities program.

Before you commit

What I check before you buy in Ibis Golf & Country Club

Because the contribution does not come back, the first question is which tier you will use, not which you can afford: a Premier Golf contribution you do not play costs more than Tennis with no exit value. The second is availability, because the sheet flags golf tiers and a wait can push a buyer into Tennis with an upgrade later at the then-current price. Then the layers: the POA contribution and the quarterly master assessment, the neighborhood association for the street, and the age of the house, since Ibis spans 1991 to new.

Questions

Questions Buyers Ask About Ibis Golf & Country Club

Is Ibis in West Palm Beach or Palm Beach Gardens?

West Palm Beach. The club’s address is 8225 Ibis Boulevard, West Palm Beach 33412, on Northlake Boulevard seven miles west of I-95, and the MLS records the city the same way. It is marketed alongside the Palm Beach Gardens clubs because that is who it competes with, which is why I keep it in the same comparison.

Is membership at Ibis required?

Yes. Brokerage pages for the individual neighborhoods say buyers must join the club at one level. The April 2026 sheet lists Premier Golf, Signature Golf and Tennis, with golf tiers subject to availability, so Tennis is the minimum.

What does it cost to join Ibis in 2026?

The club publishes a Schedule of Club Charges that changes by season. It lists Premier Golf, Signature Golf and Tennis, each with a contribution, operating dues, annual capital dues and a monthly CIP assessment. Contributions are non-refundable. I get the current schedule from the club in writing.

Does any of the Ibis contribution come back when I sell?

No. The sheet marks the Membership Contribution Assessment and Capital Contribution as non-refundable. That is the main difference from the equity clubs in Palm Beach Gardens, where a stated portion returns, and I price it that way when we compare.

What do I pay besides the club?

A property owners association capital contribution at purchase and a quarterly master POA assessment, plus your neighborhood association’s own fee, which differs across the 33 neighborhoods and runs about $662 a month at the median of current listings. If you lease, the club charges a lessee fee per term. I give you the current amounts in writing.

Tell me the tier you will actually use and the neighborhoods you like. I will confirm availability with the membership office, build the closing figure from the April 2026 sheet with the POA contribution, pull the neighborhood estoppel, and arrange the visit.
