About Lakeside Point

Lakeside Point is a row of 1960s condominium buildings along Lake Osborne Drive, with Lake Osborne and John Prince Memorial Park across the road. The county roll lists 259 units in eleven buildings, finished between 1966 and 1968.

Eight buildings face Lake Osborne Drive, from 1950 to 2304, and three are on Sunset Avenue, including the largest at 2381 Sunset Avenue. Each building is its own numbered condominium with its own association. The typical unit has about 880 square feet of living area.

It is inside the City of Lake Worth Beach, west of I-95 between Lake Worth Road and 6th Avenue South. Lake Osborne’s shore trail and the county park are across the street, and downtown is about two miles east.

What Else to Check

  • Condominium association Each owner at Lakeside Point pays the association; we confirm the current assessment, reserves, inspections and any special assessment from the association’s documents.
  • Shared facilities Some amenities are shared among the numbered buildings; we confirm what a specific building’s association covers and contributes.
  • Taxes and insurance After a sale the assessed value resets the following January. Flood zone and roof age drive insurance quotes, so we check both for the address.
  • Estoppel The closing agent orders an estoppel certificate from each association, which confirms what is owed at closing.

Documents to Review Before Closing

  • Before you sign: leasing, pet and approval rules if they matter to you
  • After you sign: the declaration, articles, bylaws, rules, budget and reserves, with the cancellation window Florida law sets once you receive them
  • For buildings three stories or taller: milestone inspection and structural integrity reserve study status
  • Before closing: the estoppel certificate from the condominium association
