Overview

About Palm Beach Shores

Palm Beach Shores is its own small town at the south tip of Singer Island, on the Lake Worth Inlet across from Palm Beach. A. O. Edwards bought this end of the island in 1947 and developed it, and the town was incorporated in 1951.

About 1,006 homes sit inside the town. Roughly 316 are single-family houses on short lanes such as Linda, Bravado, Blossom, Sandal, Claremont, Edwards, Tacoma and Cascade, most built in the 1950s; the oldest on the county roll dates to 1938. The rest are condominium and co-operative residences and small apartment buildings.

The larger buildings sit on Ocean Avenue, Inlet Way and Lake Drive, facing the ocean, the inlet or the Lake Worth Lagoon. They range from 1969 towers to buildings completed in the 2020s.

The town has no town-wide homeowners’ association. Each condominium building has its own, with its own documents and rules, and we confirm each building’s association for a specific home.
